Where you will work:

Work in beautiful the British Columbia and enjoy the pleasant and mild weather. We are looking for a  CT Technologist to fill travel assignments in Langley, Surrey and Kamloops, British Columbia.

What we are looking for:

Ability to perform special procedure examinations in CT in accordance with departmental policy and procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices, including the following:

  • receiving and completing requisitions
  • entering relevant data into the radiology information system
  • preparing examination trays and patients for specific procedures
  • operating computerized imaging equipment including processing and archiving of acquired data
  • monitoring patient during procedures
  • monitoring equipment performance.

What you’ll do:

The Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist works in a computerized environment, performs special procedures such as Computerized Tomography (CT) and carries out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician. They also apply radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public, and complete required documentation and administrative tasks.

What you bring:

  • At least 1 year of recent Canadian CT Technology experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Current CPR/BLS
  • Ability to work alone and independently as well as team member
